On August 27th, 2013 the Brave Girls hosted their 2nd International Visitors Project, in collaboration with the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs U.S Department of State. The 1st project with the Brave Girls was so impactful and inspirational that the girls and their leader Dalene Coriz were asked to host another group of international visitors.

The evening began with an introduction and overview of Santa Fe Indian School by Pat Sandoval the schools Director of Planning and Evaluation, followed by introductions by the Brave Girls, their leaders and mentors/supporters. Everone shared stories of common goals of creating change within their own communities over a wonderful meal prepared by SFIS dorm staff.

The visitors from Israel, were made up of social workers, legal advisors, youth probation officers, and coordinator's of The Maslan Women Support Center. The forming of friendships and future collaborations are in the works with the visitors from Israel and the Brave Girls.
